Day 1 Masai Mara Safari
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Maasai Mara through the floor of the Great Rift Valley . Arrive in time for lunch. The later part of the day is dedicated to wildlife viewing to catch the hunting of the big cats before dusk. Game in this are includes; Elephant, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Hippos by the edges of the rivers, Thomson's Gazelle and Migratory Wildebeest. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa/Serena/Sarova Lodges.

Day 2 Maasai Mara Kenya Safari
Rise up early in the morning for a Typical Masai Mara Safari. The early mornings are best for the Lions and Cheetahs on hunts. It is also possible to do a balloon safari floating over the wildlife before landing for a champagne breakfast in the bush. If time allows, it is possible to visit the Masai tribesmen at an extra fee.Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa/Serena/Sarova Lodges.

MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

The Masai Mara Game reserve is located at the Tanzania and Kenya border. This is Kenya’s best Safari national park boasting of over 1500 square kilometers of rolling grasslands and plains that extend into Tanzania to joining the great Serengeti Game reserves.

The wildlife of the Masai Mara Game reserve is concentrated along the marshes and the Rivers which attracts the Big Cats forming large prides of Lions and Cheetahs that are the pride of a Mara Safari enthusiast. A typical safari to the Mara starts early morning in a custom built safari vehicle and normally follows trails mostly frequented by Grant’s Gazelle, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Elephant Cheetah, Hippos and crocodiles along the River banks. The Migration Masai mara safari to Kenya is the best during the months of July, August, September and October. The migrating Wildebeests have during these months usually cross the rising Mara River in search of the mineral rich sprouting grasses on the Kenya Side. Crocodiles are usually active along the crossing points feeding on Zebra, Topi and Buffalo.

Ballooning safaris are also available at an extra cost. The mara safari would then be conducted from the air as millions of wildlife is viewed from the Balloon before guests landing in the bush for a champagne breakfast.

The Masai Village safari next to the Mara Game reserve introduces one to a typical way of life of the Masai tribesmen who are predominantly nomads co existing with the wildlife.
