Day 1 Amboseli Kenya Tours
Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel to the Amboseli National reserve at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The road leads to the Tanzania Border at Namanga before branching south through some lovely savannah vegetation. Arrive in time for lunch before and afternoon game drive in seach of Zebra, Grant's Gazelle, Elephant and other wildlife.
Later, the day's safari ends with a return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at a Amboseli Serena lodge/Sopa Lodge/Tortilis Safari Camp/Oltukai or Porini Camp.

 

Day 2 Amboseli Kenya Safari
After Breakfast, have a full day in this photogenic park on safari as you search for Zebra, Lion, Gazelle, Elephant, Cape Buffalo and other wildlife. The afternoon lull from the intensive sun is spent at the lodge/camp by poolside or simply relaxing at the safari lodge or camp.
Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena lodge/Sopa Lodge/Tortilis Safari Camp/Oltukai or Porini Camp.

 

Day 3 Nairobi
Pre-breakfast game drive, afternoon depart for Nairobi or Mombasa arriving in the afternoon.

Safari Information about Amboseli:

Amboseli is situated at the Tanzania Border west of the Kilimanjaro Mountain and was established as a Game reserve in 1968 finally becoming a National park in 1974. Safaris to amboseli National park also feature tours to the commual ranches owned by the local tribesmen that live in the vicinity of the park.

The Amboseli National park comprises of savannah grasslands dotted with accacia trees and the thorny scrub. Parts of this national park also have swamps and marshes that act as water holes and hunting areas for the Lions and the other big cats.

The climate of the Amboseli is usually characterised by high temperatures averaging between 30 degrees celcius. If taking a safari to the Amboseli, we do advise travel considering that the main wet seasons are between the months of April to November and early December.
