AMBOSELI WILDLIFE SAFARI, MOUNT KENYA, SAMBURU,LAKE NAKURU AND MASAI MARA – 12 DAY SAFARI

Day 1: Morning or afternoon arrival in Nairobi to begin the Amboseli Wildlife Safari. Transfer to the Hotel Boulevard arriving for overnight  on the bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Kenya Tours to Amboseli
Early morning breakfast before, starting the morning safari to the Amboseli National Park. Have a morning game viewing safari in search of the Elephants, Gazelle, Lion, Cheetah, Cape Bufallo and other wildlife. Later, drive to Amboseli Serena, lunch, afternoon game drive, overnight Serena F/B.

Day 3: Amboseli wildlife safari with Kenya Safari: extensions

This day is dedicated to a morning and evening Amboseli Wildlife safari with photo opportunities. The highlight, is to photograph the Amboseli animals with the Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. The afternoon lull between the game drives, is spent back at your lodge enjoying swims at the swimming pool, over a refreshing tropical fruit drink. Meals and overnight at the Amboseli Serena F/B.

Day 4: Morning breakfast and look out for more of the the big Five safari wildlife. Later, exit the park and proceed to Nairobi on to the Mombasa road arriving for lunch at the famous Nairobi carnivore or other restaurant. Later, proceed into the northern Kenya, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Mountain Lodge which is a sky hotel F/B

Day 5: Samburu of Kenya

Morning breakfast, then proceed to the Samburu area to arrive with an evening game drive in the wildlife reserve. On this drive, you will be searching for Leopard in the thickets, Lionesses on hunts and rare wildlife like the Oryx and the Gerenuks. Later, proceed to Samburu Serena for dinner and overnight. F/B.

Day 6: Morning tour then afternoon wildlife viewing drive in search of the Big Five. The mornings are usually more promising, as the early rising animals are usually seen hunting for the day’s meal. Game viewing will center around the water points where the big cats, lie and wait for opportunities of a kill. In the evening, you may visit a Samburu village to interact with the local Samburu tribes folk. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge, F/B.

Day 7:  Mount Kenya safari Club

Morning breakfast and have a game viewing safari in the Samburu area before driving to the Mount Kenya Safari Club. The day is spent on the resort activities which are available at this resort. The beautiful views of the Mount Kenya completes a beautiful day for your holiday in Kenya. At the club, you may take guided nature walks, or do some horse back wildlife viewing. Alternatively, you will spend your relaxing day at the pool, or rejuvenating from the spa. Meals and overnight at Fair mount Mount Kenya Safari Club. F/B

Day 8:  Thompson falls

Morning breakfast thereafter departure to the Thompson Falls plunging from a height of about 72 metres, to see the beauty of the magnificent waterfalls in the forested setting of the Aberdares region. Later, have lunch, and proceed to the Lake Nakuru National park. The lake attracts millions of pink flamingos that feed on the algae and plankton. Other birds in this area include White pelicans, Black winged stilts, Yellow billed ducks,cormorants and other water birds. In the evening, a game viewing safari introduces, black rhino, the grazing, African white rhino, Cheetah, the optional African Rock pythons, Lion and the Leopard, if lucky. Later, proceed to have dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill F/B.

Day 9: Early morning breakfast then begin the morning animal viewing safari into the Savannah park, dotted with the yellow acacia trees. The giraffes can be seen feeding on the higher branches of acacia, while the Gazelles and un usual Hippo may be seen grazing along the banks of the Lake. Elephants are usually spotted dusting themselves in mud baths or at the edge of the Lake, having a drink. The mid afternoon, you return to the lodge for an afternoon swim, before lunch, and the evening safari ends with a return for dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru lodge or Sarova Lion Hill. F/B.

Day 10: Masai Mara Safari

Morning breakfast and depart through the flood plains of the Lake Nakuru, viewing the flocks of flamingos, before departing the park. We will be heading to the Masai Mara, arriving for an evening animal safari. The big Five animals in the park include: Elephants, Rhino, Cape buffalo, Leopard and Lion. Look out for the Nile crocodiles at the river crossing points, as well as Hippo. Meals and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge. F/B

Day 11: Morning wake up call by the lodge staff then begin the early morning game viewing drive. The morning drive following the Vultures at the top of the acacia treetops will probably lead to a kill site, where either the Lions or the cheetahs will be feeding on a Thomson’s Gazelle, Zebra or Wildebeest. The morning wildlife viewing safari on the plains of the mara, continues, along the river mara to catch the migrations as well as spot other wildlife like the Giraffe, Masai Ostrich, Hyena and jackals. Later, you return for lunch at the lodge, before taking another evening game viewing safari of the Masai mara. The evening will be spent back at the lodge, relaxing by the pool, before dinner and overnight at Mara Serena F/B

Day 12: Morning breakfast and have the last mid morning game viewing safari of the Mara, proceed to Nairobi arriving in the mid afternoon. Later, proceed to the airport for the departure flight in the evening.
