SHABA GAME RESERVE, LAKE NAKURU AND MASAI MARA - 8 DAYS  SAFARI, TL-K16

Day 1.

Arrive at JKA, transfer to the Nairobi Serena for an overnight. 

Day 2.

:  Breakfast and early departure for Shaba game reserve – this is one of the most scenic areas in Kenya and is the location where the Kenya Discovery programme was filmed, game drive to the Shaba Lodge, late lunch, afternoon game drive, overnight Shaba Lodge. BLD 

Day 3.

Breakfast, morning and afternoon game drives, overnight Shaba Lodge. BLD 

Day 4 

Breakfast, early departure for Lake Nakuru stopping at Thompson’s Falls, picnic lunch enroute, game drive to the Lion Hill Lodge. BLD 

Day 5  

Spent exploring lake Nakuru national park and viewing wildlife – Lake Nakuru is most famous for it’s thousands of pink flamingo but it has a very high concentration of both the black and the white rhino, leopard and all the wildlife apart from elephant; there are no elephant in Lake Nakuru park – overnight Lion Hill Lodge. BLD 

Day 6 

Breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara traveling along the Great Rift Valley until Mai Mahui, then crossing the Valley floor before climbing up the other side and reaching Narok and finally the Masai Mara, game drive to the Mara Sarova, lunch, afternoon game drive, overnight Mara Sarova. BLD 

Day 07

Spent exploring the vast savannahs and viewing wildlife – Masai Mara is most famous for the many lion and this is where the BBC’s “Big Cat Diaries” are filmed – overnight Mara Sarova. BLD
Day 08
Breakfast, game drive leaving Masai Mara and returning to Nairobi and The Stanley, where day rooms have been reserved until 6.00 p.m., evening transfer to the airport for the flight out,
